Day 1   Cairo 

Upon your arrival at the Cairo Airport, Egyptian Educational Travel Rep. will assist you through the airport formalities and then transfer you to the hotel for the night.  Overnight Cairo

Day 2   Cairo  

After a late breakfast we will meet to orient ourselves to Egypt and our travels.  Our first visit today will be the fabulous Egyptian Museum, housing more than 100,000 antiquities, beginning with Pharaonic times, 5,000 years ago including the Gold Treasures of the Boy King Tut-ankh-Amon! Possible visit to the two Royal Mummy Rooms That houses Un-Wrapped Mummies for the most famous kings & Queens of Ancient Egypt

Then, we have lunch and visit to Ibn Tulun, a 6 ½ acres of land, the oldest Islamic mosque in Cairo, dates to the 8th Century with its twisted Minaret also a visit to 2 medieval homes once were occupied by Sir Gayer Anderson, the private Physician of King Farouk who donated his house with its treasures and personal belongings to the government when he left to England and turned to a museum carries his name. And then visit to the nearby St. Simon cave churches and learn about recycle at the garbage collectors district. B, L Overnight Cairo

Day 3 Cairo

Today we see one of the wonders of the world: the Great Pyramids of Giza & the Sphinx. As we marvel at the human imagination and energy they display, we will find it difficult to avoid being overwhelmed as these pyramids survived for 4,500 years, seeing dynasties come and go and surviving Egypt’s many foreign invaders and conquerors. Then we have lunch at a local restaurant serves authentic Egyptian food. Our final sites for the day are the ancient Step Pyramid of King Zoser (27th century BCE) and a tomb at Sakkara, the necropolis of pharaohs during the Old Kingdom. B, L

Day 4   Luxor

Fly to Luxor and make visits to the Temple of Karnak and the Temple of Luxor. Free time in the Luxor local & Tourist markets. Overnight Luxor

Day 5 Esna

Visit to the Valley of the Kings, Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon and then drive to Esna.

Arrival to Esna, crew will welcome you on board and have your bags taken to your cabins. We will then set sail on your voyage to Aswan. Overnight close to El Hegz Island

Day 6   Esna – Edfu / Silsela

Enjoy breakfast at your leisure, sailing to Edfu, arrive around noon time, Visit Edfu Temple by horse carriage, one of the largest and most intact of Egypt’s monuments. Two beautiful granite statues of the Falcon God Horus flank the entrance. After your visit to the temple, either ride or walk through the bazaar, this is an extensive bazaar where you can barter for souvenirs. Lunch on Board, Continue Sailing till Silsela Hormoheb Temple, Dinner will be served in the grounds of the Temple or in an island or on the upper deck of Boat whilst soaking up the tranquil atmosphere with music to match the mood.

Day 7   Silslea / Kom Ombo  

Breakfast at your leisure, sailing to Kom Ombo Temple, visit to the Greco Roman Temple Kom Ombo. Sailing heading to Aswan ,  Listen to the sounds of the water buffalo as they wade in the shallow water besides the banks of the Nile, the Donkeys as they go about their day to day business and the various bird life of the river.  Overnight close to the doors of Aswan city

Day 8   Kom Ombo / Aswan

Breakfast on Board , pick up by private bus to  visit the Philae Temple , The High Dam enjoy walking in Aswan Bazaar , In the evening and enjoy Egyptian evening of Fun with Egyptian Cuisine at this atmospheric location in ASW.

Day 9   Aswan – Old Cataract Palace Hotel.  

After breakfast, we bid farewell to the crew. Your luggage will be collected and will be ready for you to travel to your next destination and check into the Old Cataract Hotel followed by a nice cultural visit to the Nubian Village, visit a local home and learn about their culture and traditions, also visit the national park area and return for the hotel for lunch and rest.

Afternoon, enjoy a visit to the Nubian museum which houses a great collection of artifacts found in Aswan and the Nubian area, also gives a brief account of the Nubians and the Nubian history.

Day 10     Aswan. Old Cataract Palace Hotel.

After breakfast,

Then return to the hotel to check out and fly back to Cairo. And check into your hotel.
