Recently, the Egyptian Government with the Vatican have paid much attention to revive the Holy Family Route around Egypt as well as the Places where she appeared in 1968 , an event became so popular to everyone, even it was recognized by the Egyptian Government and President Abel Nasser at that time.

This Itinerary is a unique tour around the most famous Holy family Sites and the churches where she appeared Topped with the experience of the Magical Nile Cruise between Luxor & Aswan seeing most of the Highlights of Egypt.

Day 2 Cairo  

Upon your arrival at the Cairo Airport, Select Int’l Tours On-site Rep. will assist you through the airport formalities and then transfer you to the hotel for the night. Overnight Cairo

Day 3 Cairo   

After a late breakfast we will meet to orient ourselves to Egypt and our travels.  Our first visit today will be the fabulous Egyptian Museum, housing more than 100,000 antiquities, beginning with Pharaonic times, 5,000 years ago including the Gold Treasures of the Boy King Tut-ankh-Amon! Visit to the two Royal Mummy Rooms That houses Un-Wrapped Mummies for the most famous Kings  & Queens of Ancient Egypt.

Then the Citadel, whose construction was begun by Salah ad-Din in 1176 and from which rulers governed Egypt for 700 years. We will explore the Alabaster Mosque built by Mohammed Ali. Then we visit the Church of St. Mary at Zeitoun district where she appeared in 1968. B, L Overnight Cairo

Day 4 Overnight Cairo  

Today we see one of the wonders of the world: the Great Pyramids of Giza. As we marvel at the human imagination and energy they display, we will find it difficult to avoid being overwhelmed as these pyramids survived for 4,500 years, seeing dynasties come and go and surviving Egypt’s many foreign invaders and conquerors.

Then we visit Old Cairo Churches including Abu Serga Church where the Holy Family hid in a Crypt for 3 month, later on in the 5th Century a beautiful church was built to mark the site, also we visit a Jewish Synagogue and the famous Hanging Church. After Breakfast we check out of our hotel then fly to Luxor, Upon arrival, we will visit the Temple of Karnak, the Greatest temple in Egypt and the Ancient World, then we drive to visit the Temple of Luxor that was used as the residence of the God Amon‘s Harem, then check on board your lovely cruise for 4 nights.

DAY 6 Luxor – Edfu, Via Esna Lock  

Today we visit one of the World-Known Site of the Valley of the Kings known as Biban El Mukluk (Kings’ Gates) which was the Burial Ground for the Great Pharaohs who ruled the most Ancient Empire that history has known, and then we visit the temple of Queen Hatshepsut, a unique temple of its architecture. On our way back we will visit the Colossi of Memnon, once related to the Greek God of Music. Return to the Cruise boat for Lunch and sail to Edfu. B, L, D

DAY 7 Edfu-Aswan  

This morning we will visit the Temple of God Horus in Edfu, the best preserved temple of the Ancient World which was built by the Ptolomies, then we return to the cruise Boat and sail to the temple of Kom-Obmo, A dual Temple which was built for two Gods, Sobek the Crocodile and Harroris the Falcon, then return to the Cruise and sail to Aswan. DAY 8 Aswan  

We will drive over the British Dam or Aswan to visit the high Dam of Aswan, which was built in the Sixties to block the Nile Flood, save the water and generate electricity, Then we visit one of the most romantic location for a Temple, the Temple of Philae, the Temple of the first love Story in history of mankind, that was built for the Goddess Isis and the triad of Osiris , Isis and their son Horus, on the Philae Island then return to visit the Ancient Quarries with the Unfinished Obelisk , and return to the Cruise for Lunch. After Lunch we will enjoy a nice sail Boat ride, evening visit to the Aswan Spice market. B, L, D Overnight on Board the Cruise, Aswan.

DAY 9 Abu Simbel – Anafora  

After Breakfast, we will fly to Abu Simbel Temples and enjoy the World Heritage site of Abu Simbel which was saved by the UNESCO during building the high Dam of Aswan; they were built by the famous Kings Ramses II and another for his wife queen Nefertiti to be worshipped as a GOD. Then fly back to Aswan and then to Cairo and drive to Anafora. B, D

 Day 10 Anafora

Start our day with a mass service, then have breakfast and relax, after lunch we have the tour of the Anafora, seeing the underground churches and the fields, a model of the Tabernacle, in the evening we will have a talk with the Anafora Coptic Bishop about the place and the purpose and also any other topic of your selection. Day 11 Anafora

We will visit The Monasteries of Wadi Natron, another holy site visited by the Holy Family, meet with Monks, and tour the monastery with them,

 DAY 12 Flight Home,  

Depart to Cairo Int’l Airport for you flight home. IF
